Green DIYers could benefit from Eco Home exhibition

Green DIYers could benefit from Eco Home exhibitionBritish homeowners hoping to carry out DIY projects to make their properties more energy efficient might be interested in heading to the Eco Home exhibition at the Geffrye Museum in London.

The exhibition is running until February 7th, giving green DIYers plenty of time to visit the event and take advantage of the multitude of workshops, discussions and talks on creating an eco-friendly home.

According to the museum's director David Dewing, the exhibition "will help us to consider ways in which almost every home could become a bit greener".

Furthermore, Sean Allam, head of product sourcing at John Lewis, commented: "Eco Home is a timely exhibition, marking the impact that environmental considerations now have on the choices people make for their homes."

He added that the event gives Brits the chance to learn about some of the small steps they can take to make their properties energy efficient.

The museum has been working with eco designer Oliver Heath throughout the exhibition.
