Everest has doubled its wood-grain range, so there are now six different ‘wood effects' to choose from. Previously Everest offered golden oak, rosewood and mahogany colourings; now the range has been expanded to include white, cream and black windows and doors, all with a subtle wood-grain effect.
Duncan Bland, marketing director for Everest, said: "Wood-grain windows and doors incorporate the best of both worlds. Homeowners can have peace of mind knowing they are enjoying all the benefits of uPVC while benefiting from a timber finish, too."
According to Everest, the growing interest in wood-grain products is a reflection of the huge popularity of timber windows and doors. Everest has offered timber products since 2001 and sales continue to flourish. The company says that the new uPVC wood-grain options reflect the appeal of low-maintenance uPVC and the softer, more natural appeal of timber.
