A man who's good at DIY may find himself attracting plenty of attention from members of the opposite sex.According to the Herald Sun newspaper, a survey carried out in Australia has found that women Down Under are more impressed by DIY skills than royalty.Indeed, those questioned in the Australian Women's Weekly poll said they would rather marry a tradesman than a prince. They also said they would prefer to tie the knot with a DIY enthusiast over a millionaire, an actor or a sportsman.Of course the survey was carried out in Australia, but similar research carried out in the UK earlier this year appeared to draw the same conclusion.Almost four in ten women said they want to date a man who can put up shelves or fix wobbly door handles.Chris Tidy, a spokesman from Bosch, which carried out the survey, said: "While all women love to be romanced, it seems your DIY skills are the thing they are really looking out for."Posted by Barney Marshall
