DIY enthusiasts who are looking to decorate their bathrooms have been encouraged to consider installing a free standing bath to instil a touch of glamour. The Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine (EKBB) said that free standing baths are a "desirable item" that gives a bathroom a more "luxurious look".Ronnie Whelan, editor of the magazine, observed: "Most people still want to include a bath even if limited on space."In spite of this, Ms Whelan conceded that there is growing choice to tempt bathroom dwellers to install a shower. She commented: "Walk-in showers have universal appeal and there is a new generation of wet rooms which offer a refreshing alternative to fussy shower trays and rather ineffective curtains."This follows claims made recently by Ms Whelan that there are a variety of ways in which DIY enthusiasts can revamp their bathroom."Mp3 players, televisions that masquerade as mirrors or remote-controlled taps, will bring your bathroom up to date," she said.Posted by Jenny Summer
