A ‘Tote-ally’ durable solution from C.K Tools

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments3 Mins Read

C.K Tools Tote - lets-do-diy.comBuilding on the huge success of its innovative, mix-and-match Tool Systems range, C.K tools – major supplier of quality tools for professional trades – has extended its 25-strong collection of ground-breaking vests, belts and bags with the introduction of two functional and extremely durable Tool Totes.

Designed with tradesmen in mind, the new C.K Technician’s Tote and the C.K Tool Tote retain all the key benefits that underpin the entire range of flexible tool storage and work-wear, including a waterproof, rubber base designed specifically to keep tools protected and dry when placed on wet surfaces.

Unlike any plastic based tool bags currently available, C.K’s rubberised base, which runs through the entire Tool Systems range, will not crack or split on impact, even in the cold. This innovation is not only slip resistant, so can be placed on sloping surfaces without fear of it sliding away – and will even remain secure during transport in the back of the van – but is also easily wiped clean and resilient to scratches and scuffing – keeping the Totes smarter for much longer.

For added convenience, the revolutionary C.K Tool Tote benefits from a rigid, detachable handle that not only prevents the fabric sides from collapsing in on themselves when being carried but as the handle can be removed it prevents obstruction, allowing easy access to tools. This detachable feature has also seen some resourceful tradesmen using the handle as a cable runner. The C.K Technician’s Tote features a softer, more flexible handle, which is also removable, for added convenience whilst on the job.

Standard totes are open by design, exposing tools to the often mucky conditions of building sites and industrial environments in which many tradesmen work. However, in its continuous effort to revolutionise the market, C.K tools has incorporated an extremely practical dust and spray cover to its innovative new Totes, which can be neatly rolled away for added convenience. This highly functional feature will provide protection against dust, dirt and liquids when the bag is not in use.

With health and safety at the fore, both Totes feature a specific pocket for the safe storage of trimming knives, whilst a padded pocket with a reinforced zip is provided to store sensitive equipment. And in an effort to save tradesmen time whilst on the job, C.K’s practical Totes benefit from a durable metal tape measure holder and an insulating tape ‘T’ holder, allowing quick and efficient access to regularly used items.

Durable polyester construction teamed with reinforced pocket stitching ensures these revolutionary Totes work even harder, keeping tools secure and easily accessible.

The robust C.K Technician’s Tote and C.K Tool Tote join the full C.K Tool System range, which has been designed to work together as a ‘mix and match’ package for tradesmen to create their own personally designed tool system to suit their individual requirements.

Nicki Elkin, C.K tools brand manger commented: “We work closely with a dedicated team of professional tradesmen to better understand their everyday working requirements. Feedback revealed a need for a more functional tool carrying system to allow easy access to tools whilst also keeping them protected in all working environments. The new C.K Technician’s Tote and C.K Tool Tote meet these requirements.

“The extension of our already popular Tool System range is further testimony to our continued efforts to improve on the quality and design of our products in order to meet the changing needs of our customers and our continuous efforts to innovate the market.”
