Bathroom design is still in vogue, says DIY expert

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments1 Min Read

Bathroom design is still in vogue, says DIY expertIn light of a recent study conducted by Buster which claimed that taking a bath is out of vogue, a DIY expert has insisted that bathroom design remains cutting edge.

Ronnie Whelan, editor of Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine, explained that there are a variety of ways in which DIY enthusiasts can revamp their bathroom.

“Mp3 players, televisions that masquerade as mirrors or remote-controlled taps, will bring your bathroom up to date,” she observed.

According to Ms Whelan, in order to make dramatic changes on a relatively low budget, the use of light and colour is critical.

She said: “Using neutral tones with crisp white fittings will help make your bathroom a more peaceful space in which to start your day and a welcome sanctuary to unwind in.”

Meanwhile, the British Retail Consortium revealed recently that outdoor DIY sales climbed last month, as an increasing number of consumers acquired leisure and home improvement products in the warm weather.
