B&Q launches biggest ever £190 million January sale

Updated:29th June 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

This year, B&Q is planning its biggest ever £190 million January sale event covering a wider range of products than ever before. During the year, the retailer has invested over £26 million in revamping its kitchen and bathroom showrooms and introducing brand new ranges including showers, furniture, new Cooke & Lewis bathroom and kitchen ranges, and an extended range of premium appliances with brands such as SMEG. It also launched a new Showroom Academy training over 4,000 show room employees to give even better product, service and design skills across kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, carpets, flooring and show room appliances so that customers can improve their homes with confidence and expert advice.

The B&Q half price sale which launches at 7 am on 24 December will see customers promised the best price in the market across 34 kitchen ranges, 24 bathroom suites, 59 shower enclosures and discounts on bedrooms and appliances. For the first time the event will also include 15 per cent off thousands of decorative products, power tools, tiling and flooring projects. So whether you’re planning a major home improvement project like a new kitchen or bathroom or looking for inspiration to have a go at sprucing up your home during the festive break you will find it at the B&Q sale.

Pre -orders placed already during the last few weeks show that customers are really embracing the improve don’t move trend, kitchen orders are up on last year with one of the most popular ranges being a new value range gloss black slab kitchen bringing the latest design trends to customers at a more affordable price; a typical 8 unit example would cost just £1189.50 and all the doors and drawer fronts will be half price in the January sale. B&Q is expecting to sell twice as many black kitchens this year as last.

Euan Sutherland, CEO of B&Q and Kingfisher UK says; “The improve rather than move trend is real and to meet this trend the B&Q team has been investing all year in revamping our stores, new product ranges, improved service levels and our unique Showroom Academy for training our experts in store. We have never been better geared up to give customers the best January sale offer out there – not only will it be our biggest sale ever but our service level guarantees, ten year product guarantee, local installation networks and expertise are the best they have ever been.”

The B&Q kitchen, bathroom and bedroom showroom service manifesto includes free design and planning and a national network of local installation centres means that local fully qualified experienced trades people will be available to fit it with a two year guarantee on all B&Q fitting work and a ten year product guarantee.
