B&Q tops DIY Consumer Satisfaction Index

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments1 Min Read

B&Q tops DIY Consumer Satisfaction IndexB&Q have topped a customer satisfaction report, according to Report Linker.

The website says that DIYers and other cosumers are most satisfied with B&Q, noting that the the store ranked top of the UK DIY Consumer Satisfaction Index for the first time since 2007.

B&Q has beaten 2008 and 2009 winner Wickes to the crown.

Report Linker says that the report includes "eight performance metrics" which analyse the store’s "price, range, quality, service, convenience, ambience, layout and facilities".

The website notes that B&Q gained 12 points on its 2007 index score and has achieved a leading rank for range, service and layout.

Customer satisfaction of five hardware retailers – B&Q, Focus, Homebase, Wickes and Wilkinson – is gauged by the report, according to Report Linker.

B&Q recently announced that Alan Titchmarsh had joined its forces and would be giving hints and tips to customers on gardening and outdoor DIY.

A £190 million January sale has just ended at the hardware store, with a recent survey from Rated People predicting the numbers of those undertaking DIY projects to rise in 2010.
