A-list couple Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are getting stuck into a widescale home improvement project, it has emerged.
The Coldplay singer and the star of Sliding Doors and Iron Man are revealed to be looking to extend their £2.5 million London property by knocking through the walls of the adjacent property, which Martin purchased two years ago.
Once the home improvement project is complete the pair will have a 33-room home worth a total of £7 million.
Work on the scheme has already begun, with builders taking steps to remove a number of windows.
"It will be a massive house. What they have already is a substantial family home, but to double and add a bit on will make it a real mansion," a neighbour told the Daily Mail.
However, this is not the first time such home improvements are to be tackled in the celebrity world, as TV chef Jamie Oliver recently purchased the £3 million property next to his current London house in order to construct a 19-room home.
