Elderly homeowners in Grimsby wanting to carry out DIY projects over the winter months are to be given a helping hand by a charity.
Age UK has launched a new regionally-based scheme geared towards helping some of the most-vulnerable members of society make their homes more secure.
Through this initiative, elderly people in the Lincolnshire town are to be given a hand with their DIY projects, the Grimsby Telegraph has reported
In addition, the charity will work alongside qualified tradesmen in the area to hand out DIY tips and also practical help.
According to Age UK, the service helps people "feel secure and continue to live independently in their own homes".
