New landscaping guide from Build Center helps make the most of bank holiday season
With what is traditionally one of the busiest weekends for landscaping coming up and the start of bank holiday season just around the corner, staff at Build Center are helping DIY enthusiasts across the UK source quality landscaping products quickly and easily with the launch of its latest product catalogue; the 2011 Landscaping Guide. Packed with products over 160 pages, including a number of exclusives and range extensions, it promises to be Build Center’s most extensive guide to landscaping products to date.
Most Build Center branches across the UK are also open over the Easter weekend and during the bank holiday weekend to ensure customers can pick up products at a time convenient to them.
Andrew Cushing, head of marketing for Build Center, part of Wolseley UK, explained: “The period over Easter and May Day bank holiday is one of our busiest times as people look to prepare and revamp their gardens for spring and summer, which is why we like to stay open to allow customers to make the most of their time off.
“The 2011 Landscaping Guide is our biggest guide yet and is a trusty tool for sourcing landscaping products quickly. There is a full portfolio of basics like paving, fencing, driveway and decking products and more specialised products like garden structures, decorative walling and aggregates too.
Some of the new products featured in the 2011 Landscaping Guide include Marshalls Bio-verse, which is exclusive to Build and Landscape Centers this season, a new sustainable driveway system from Marshalls, which is made up of reduced carbon concrete, plus an ethical paving range called Fairstone Riven. A revolutionary brush-in patio jointing material – Marshalls Weatherpoint 365 – is also available, which can be laid easily in any weather by both the DIY enthusiast and professional installer. Another major addition to the 2011 guide is the transfer of the entire Decorative Aggregates range to Marshalls; a move designed to improve the quality and service customers receive.
“The guide also includes details of Build Center and Landscape Centers’ many design tools, including the paving planner in conjunction with Marshalls, a step-by-step paving guide and the garden visualiser, as part of our full service offer to help customers see through a project from start to finish. We also have a new SMS Landscape Guide request service for landscaping contractors to receive multiple copies of the catalogue to pass onto their customers, without having to go into their local branch,” Andrew added.
