DIYers could look into the option of an alternative to central heating to improve energy efficiency and save money on fuel bills, according to Easy-Heat.
The company has suggested that homeowners consider their range of electric heating systems and take advantage of the numerous benefits they could have.
Easy-Heat explained that the systems are simple to install and require no service or maintenance costs, while bills could be reduced in line with the Economy 10 tariff – offering lower prices for electricity during certain off-peak periods.
In addition, the heating solutions business stated that energy could be saved by the radiators’ individual thermostats and technology that can heat a room only when it drops below a certain temperature.
The radio frequency controllers and 24-hour timer models included could also make the heaters easier to use and improve energy efficiency in the home.
Green Stamp recently released details of its new products that fit onto standard radiators and help to avoid heat loss and trapped air, including radiator panels, valves and boosters.
