DIY advice has been given to homeowners in the run-up to National Maintenance Week – which starts tomorrow (November 20th) – by TV presenter and property expert Phil Spencer.
The campaign aims to offer advice and guidance to Brits who want to ensure their building is sufficiently weather-proof and ready for the winter months.
Mr Spencer commented that people need to make maintenance more of a priority as it can save money, time and mean that bigger repairs are not essential in the future.
Lindsey Walker, marketing director at Jewson – which supports the campaign – added: "National Maintenance Week is an ideal opportunity to make the public aware of how they can reap the rewards of taking a practical approach to maintenance."
Phil Spencer is the presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location, manages the property search company Garrington Home Finders and also has columns in the Mail on Sunday’s Night & Day magazine and the Sunday Times.
