DIY may not be the pastime which first springs to mind when considering the hobbies of celebrities, but it appears one singer is keen on gardening.
Geri Halliwell – of multimillion record-selling pop act the Spice Girls – was recently seen browsing the aisles of a Homebase store in north London for a variety of gardening equipment.
The Daily Mail reveals that Geri – also known as Ginger Spice during her time in the group – picked up some sunflower seeds while out shopping with her daughter Bluebell Madonna and a friend.
In addition, the 36-year-old bought a trowel and some exotic plants.
But, it may be a case of mother and daughter doing DIY as a family, as the publication points out that Bluebell picked up a bright pink watering can to keep herself entertained.
