Those looking to incorporate the "classic strawberry-to-blackcurrant palette" into their latest DIY project may be interested to hear her advice that decorating using these colours can be complemented with black, silver and mirrored glass accessories.
Alternatively pistachio greens, chartreuses and teals can help with "cutting through the richness".
Meanwhile, Julia Kendell, interior designer of BBC show DIY SOS, recently claimed homeowners are increasingly decorating with bright colours to help make their properties feel more homely.
