Strictly Come DIY

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments1 Min Read

Strictly Come DIYProfessional dancers may be more associated with pirouettes but one Strictly Come Dancing star has also spoken of her passion for property.

Erin Boag reveals that since appearing on the BBC1 dance programme she and her husband Peter have amassed a portfolio of homes in the London suburb of Surbiton.

"I’m addicted to property shows, it drives my husband mad. I want Sarah Beeny’s job," the New Zealand-born dancer states.

Currently owning five buy-to-let flats in Surbiton, Boag tells the Daily Mail that she and her husband purchased their latest property along with fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Anton Du Beke, who paid up a third of the £80,000 deposit required on the home.

However as the trio were able to negate a discount on the asking price, they opted to plough the money saved into DIY which saw the property be replastered, in addition to receiving a new kitchen, bathroom and double-glazing.

Last month, it was revealed that Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow are looking to extend their £2.5 million London property by knocking through into the adjacent property to create a 33-room super-home.ADNFCR-2244-ID-19361436-ADNFCR
