Triton introduces new 75mm belt sander TA1200BS

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments3 Mins Read

TA1200BS Belt Sander - lets-do-diy.comOffering the very latest in modern industrial design, the new Triton TA1200BS Belt Sander is a stunning addition to the Triton range of precision power tools, perfect for do-it-yourself woodworkers and professionals looking to add a smooth finishing touch to their work.

The TA1200BS is host to many significant features, ranging from variable speed control and improved versatility when working with different materials, to a belt tracking adjustment that enables accurate alignment of the sanding belt. The TA1200BS features a powerful 1200W motor, that drives the sanding belt at between 200 and 400m/min. This enables rapid stock removal and provides sufficient muscle for even the toughest wood surfaces.

The build quality of the machine provides a sander that is reliable and satisfying to use, and extensive use of magnesium has achieved significant reduction in weight without compromising strength and durability. Weighing just 4kg, the TA1200BS is 25% lighter than its competitors.

The Triton TA1200BS Belt Sander is fitted with a small diameter front roller which is ideal for sanding in tight corners and awkward areas. The unique design of the TA1200BS also allows flush sanding to a wall using the side of the sander, which is perfect for sanding close to edges. In addition, the rubber over-moulded grip and removable bail handle offer increased support, safety and control of the tool. This is complemented by the lock-on button which provides convenience and comfort for extended use.

For a cleaner, safer working environment, the Triton TA1200BS is fitted with a side dust port that connects to the dust bag supplied with the machine, or can be connected to a vacuum system.

The Triton TA1200BS 75mm Belt Sander is now available in all good stockists at an RRP of £196.54. For more information, log on to www.tritontools.com
