This Easter, Henkel will be encouraging DIY enthusiasts to improve their homes with UniBond’s Anti-Mould sealant and adhesive range as part of their £2.5 million TV advertising campaign.
The 20-second advert will run from 29 March to 30 April across ITV, including key slots such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale and some Champions League matches, as well as Channel 4 and Five. There will also be a special one-minute UniBond led DIY feature on GMTV called ‘House to Home’ that will run for a week during the Easter break, both May Bank Holidays and the August Bank Holiday.
The advert starts with a visual of mouldy bathroom tiles, and then a tub of UniBond Anti-Mould Tile On Walls Adhesive and Grout blasts through them with the voiceover of “Join UniBond’s campaign against bathroom mould”. The tub is then joined by the rest of the Anti-Mould sealant and adhesive range with the sign-off of “UniBond’s Anti-Mould sealants and grouts stay mould free for longer”.
Dave McCann, Head of Brand Marketing for Henkel, said: “Easter is a key time for our DIY range and the TV advertising campaign is to support that in this highly competitive market. Even though UniBond is the leading brand in tiling sealants and adhesive, we still want to be able to assure our customers of its versatility and quality.”
The campaign will also feature on radio with a 30 second advert on Talk Sport promoting the Anti-Mould sealant and adhesive range, running from 29 March – 3 May to cover Easter and the first May Bank Holiday.
The UniBond advertising campaign, created by 438 Marketing, includes a £600,000 Easter TV campaign spend to promote the new Pritt X and improved Pritt Pink to encourage kids to get creative.
