The lighter, tougher – and lower – shower tray

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

Create a sleek, contemporary wet room look in your bathroom with the new range of Flight Low shower trays from Mira Showers.

ย ย

The innovative design of the Mira Flight Low shower tray has a 40mm profile instead of the usual 90mm; giving the shower area an effortless wet room look. Although lower, the tray retains the strength of a standard model due to its unique sandwich construction that uses durable acrylic capped resin stone, making it ideal for all bathrooms.

ย

Each Flight Low tray is impregnated with Biocote technology, which is proven to reduce bacteria and the build up of mould by up to 99.9%.ย This antibacterial agent means the trays are protected for their lifetime, as Biocote never wears off or washes away.

ย ย

Being lighter than many similar products on the market, the new shower trays are simple to install and can be fitted by one person. Riser kits* including fixing clips, corner panels and removable panels can be bought in order to fit it quickly and easily.ย Flight Low trays can even be used with power showers as a vortex waste system can be purchased, which sucks water out of the base of the tray, avoiding overflow and blockages despite the flat design. Flight Low is available in white, in 3 shapes and 12 sizes.ย Each comes with a 10 year guarantee. The Mira Flight Low is available from £185 and can be purchased at bathroom shops as well as builders and plumbers merchants nationwide.

ย

*Riser kits are required for installation on solid floors.
