Paint effect tools

Apart from brushes, there are various other tools available to help you create paint effects.

Paint comb

Made from plastic the paint comb has different tooth sizes along its edges, which can create straight or curved lines of different widths. Just run the comb across a freshly painted wall to create your pattern.

Sponge

A natural sponge can be used to produce a mottled effect when applied to freshly painted walls.
