Grand Designs Live, the consumer show that showcases design, innovation and inspiration for the home takes place in London from the 25th April to 4th May, 2009.
Based on the hugely successful Channel 4 TV series – presented by design guru Kevin McCloud – Grand Designs Live brings together over 500 exhibitors and six separate shows covering: Design, Interiors, Building, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Gardens and our awe-inspiring Grand Village, offering visitors the chance to see the latest in design, self-build, and sustainable living – all under one roof.
For homeowners looking to improve their homes rather than move this year, or who are thinking of building their own home, Grand Designs Live can offer inspiration and ideas along with celebrity experts who will provide free advice from the Expert Advice Centre.
Another special feature at this year’s show is the House of the Future where the latest technology and most innovative designs for the home will be on display, many of which will be making their UK debut at Grand Designs Live.
The Grand Seminars, sponsored by Electrical Safety Council, will educate as well as inspire and this year will address the ‘Big Questions’ with key speakers tackling topics such as the future of the housing market and the controversial proposals for eco towns.
A host of interactive features are also planned from live cooking demonstrations, product tests, interiors and DIY workshops, competitions and much more.
Grand Designs Live takes place at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London’s Docklands from 25th April – Monday 4th 2009.
