Homeowners wanting to start a DIY project to overhaul their flooring have been advised by CP Group that there could be many benefits to using tiling.
The tile manufacturer suggested that Brits wanting to get creative with their flooring could take advantage of their flexibility and combine tiles various sizes to achieve a bespoke style throughout the home.
Katy Black, marketing executive at the company, explained that a more free-flowing design could be perfect for the more social areas of the house that emphasise relaxation.
In addition, she stated that this type of flooring could be ideal for families.
"Tiles are hard wearing and easy to clean, making them the ideal flooring choice, especially in areas subject to heavy traffic or in households with children or pets," she said.
According to research by Halifax this year, the main reasons for undertaking home improvement projects were to improve the look of the property and to modernise and keep up to date with recent trends.
