DIYers have been given advice by Green Stamp on how to make savings on energy bills over the winter and reduce their carbon emissions at the same time.
Currently both the government and homeowners are increasingly making the reduction of their carbon footprints a main priority, while energy watchdog Ofgem has reported that it expects household fuel bills to increase by anything up to 60 per cent in the next decade.
With this in mind, Green Stamp firstly suggested fitting its efficient Aladdin Radiator Valve, which removes trapped air inside the heater and constantly bleeds it.
In addition, homeowners could install the company’s Heatkeeper Radiator Panels, designed to reflect wasted heat, save on bills and improve output.
Purchasing a Radiator booster is advised, which recycles the hot air behind the appliance and propels it into the room using small electric fans.
Green Stamp was formed in Cornwall and aims to reduce Britain’s carbon output and energy bills with its eco-friendly products.
