Britons hoping to carry out a DIY project in 2010 might be interested in heading to this year’s KBB Birmingham event to get inspiration and advice on what to include in their kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
The trade exhibition is set to take place between March 21st and 24th in the NEC Arena, where businesses and companies from the respective industries gather to showcase their products to consumers.
Geberit is one firm taking part in the event and will launch a number of new innovations at the spectacle, such as the slimline Monolith toilet, which consists of a "wall-hung frame and an integrated dual flush cistern".
It is believed that the exhibition could benefit all manner of DIY enthusiasts looking to spruce up their homes and may reveal to them some of the key trends in interiors this year.
Robin Levien, product designer at Studio Levien, suggested one style he expects to be popular in 2010.
"Bright colours are back to cheer us up in furniture and accessories," he said.
He added that this is due to the effect of the recession.
