A film and television star has spoken out about her passion for DIY.
Isla Fisher – who has appeared in box office hits such as Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Definitely, Maybe – states that although she often enjoys spending her free time getting to grips with DIY projects in the home, her height – or rather lack of it – can cause her problems.
The 33-year-old actress claims: “I try to do DIY, but because of my height sometimes it’s difficult. There’s nothing like trying to put up a picture when you’re my height.”
Consequently, the former Home & Away star reveals that she often has to call on her fiance – Ali G and Borat creator Sacha Baron Cohen – for assistance.
But Isla has not been the only entertainment star to get to grips with DIY, as author Andrew Martin told the Times last month how he built his own shed from a flatpack model.
