Those looking to fix up their home with a spot of DIY could take advantage of a new range of cheap tools and appliances from one provider.
Homebase has launched a new value range – which includes over 300 products for keeping the home and garden in top shape through DIY or decorating – after revealing the extent to which Brits enjoy conserving their homes.
Research by the firm showed that homeowners in the UK paint enough to cover the entire surface of the country 200 times, with the average person carrying out DIY in 36 rooms over their lifetime, moneyhighstreet.com reports.
Simon Yeomans, category marketing manager for Homebase, said: "Our research proves that the nation truly has a love for DIY. By introducing an affordable range of good quality basic items, we hope more people will be encouraged to transform spaces in their homes and gardens."
Report Linker recently revealed that B&Q has been voted the best DIY store for customer service, topping the website’s UK DIY Consumer Satisfaction Index this year for the first time since 2007.
