Natural bathroom elegance from Tile Depot

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

Tile Depot - lets-do-diy.comTile Depot, the UK’s largest independent tile and stone retailer with 14 branches across London and the South East, has expanded its range of Travertine natural stone to include a beautiful 60 x 40cm tile and stunning mosaics for bathroom walls and floors.

The large Travertine 60 x 40cm tiles are honed for a smooth, matt finish and naturally, every tile has its own unique pattern in neutral tones. At 10 mm thick, the 60 x 40cm tiles provide a quality, hard-wearing, smooth natural surface combining the durability of marble with the softer, more subtle appeal of limestone. The large size of the tiles makes for quicker coverage of sizeable areas and when fitted, exudes a majestic, enchanting air of ancient Egypt, Rome or Greece.

Fitted in conjunction with a natural stone border, such as Tile Depot’s new White or Mix Travertine 2.3 x 4.8cm Brick Mosaic tiles, the combination makes for a timeless, elegant bathroom appealing to all tastes.

The Travertine Brick Mosaic is available in two different tones – White, with blends of light beige and white stone and Mix, in tones of cream and ivory – both of which perfectly coordinate with the 60 x 40cm Travertine tile. Mounted onto a mesh backing and sold in sheets of 30.5cm x 30.5cm, the Travertine Brick Mosaics are easily cut to suit any required pattern.

Fitted using adhesives and grout from Tile Depot’s comprehensive range, Travertine as a natural product requires sealing – the Fila W68 or Fila Stone plus sealer from Tile Depot not only provides a waterproof finish, it also enhances the superb natural colouring of the stone.

The Travertine 60 x 40cm and Brick Mosaic tiles are available now from all 14 branches of Tile Depot and online at www.thetiledepot.co.uk. For further information or for details of Tile Depot’s Price Promise or Trade Card, visit the web site or call 08000 740720.
