Alan Titchmarsh has joined forces with B&Q in the hope of getting more British people gardening and taking up DIY outside.
He was chosen to join forces with the hardware store following a poll of customers which asked who they trusted the most when seeking gardening advice.
Mr Titchmarsh said he was "passionate about getting Britain gardening".
He added that he is hopeful his partnership with B&Q will help "reach as many people as possible and get everyone, young and old, keen and novice, having a go in their gardens".
Those interested in outdoor DIY can receive advice and hints from Mr Titchmarsh online or through in store communication.
A former Gardeners’ World presenter, Mr Titchmarsh will also return to the garden on TV screens in the UK, after the BBC confirmed the launch of a new gardening series called Alan’s Garden Secrets.
Mr Titchmarsh currently hosts a chat show called the Alan Titchmarsh Show on the ITV network.
