Getting to grips with DIY does not have to break the bank, one interior designer claims.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, Kelly Hoppen states “there are lots of things you can do to revamp a home inexpensively”.
And one area home improvement enthusiasts may want to concentrate on is the kitchen, as she asserts that people should be particularly aware that refreshing such a part of a property can be done without splashing out a significant sum of money.
Ms Hoppen also claims that a home can be given a new look through the effective use of light, as a higher number of lamps can offer “more choice” when it comes to setting a mood within a property.
To help achieve this, she states the likes of freestanding lights and table lamps can be effective.
