Stanley has launched the new FatMax blade, which the manufacturer claims is the sharpest blade it’s ever made.
David Osborne, head of marketing at Stanley Tools explains the production process behind the new blade’s sharpness:
“We’ve invested in a special heat treatment which provides an induction hardened edge to create this new generation of blade which ensures 35 per cent increased sharpness, 20 per cent improved strength and 75 per cent longer life than an average 1992 Stanley heavy duty blade.”
The new FatMax blade is ideal for heavy-duty, general purpose use and will cut through a variety of tough materials including leather, carpet, vinyl and most sheet materials. Designed to fit all standard Stanley knives, the new blade is available in packs of 5, 10 and 100.
Look out for the FatMax laser etching to ensure you’re buying the best Stanley blade ever made. Stanley’s new FatMax Blades are available from all good professional outlets. For more information, visit www.stanleyworks.co.uk and www.fatmaxblades.com.
