Sales boost for drip oil specialists

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

Business is booming for the UK’s favourite drip-oil brand.

The company that owns the world’s number one lubricant, WD-40, has seen sales increase by over 10 per cent for its 3-IN-ONE portfolio of drip oils and specialist maintenance products.

This year the 3-IN-ONE brand celebrates 115 years of production, spanning a remarkable three centuries.

3-IN-ONE brand manager, Sue Walker, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate 115 years of the brand with an increase in sales, despite difficult trading conditions over the past 12 months.

“From the original drip oil to the professional range of high-performance formulas, 3-IN-ONE has become a trusted name and the product of choice in a wide variety of specialties.”

Over more recent years the complete 3-IN-ONE professional line up has been developed, improved and increased to give do-it-yourselfers and trade professionals in automotive and other industries the right oil or lubricant for any given task.

Sue continued: “Each product is specially designed to meet a specific maintenance or problem-solving need.

“As new machines and devices have been invented, so 3-IN-ONE has produced an oil or lubricant to help maintain them.”

3-IN-ONE recently joined the comprehensive list of corporate sponsors to back the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.

As part of their support for the event, 3-IN-ONE helped seasoned veteran car owner Ron Mellowship from Canterbury, Kent restore his 1896 Bergman Orient Express to its former glory and complete the annual event.

Ron said: “Having 3-IN-ONE on board was a tremendous benefit and they certainly provided solutions to some very unique problems during the restoration project.”
