A single mum has spoken of her passion for plumbing.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, mum-of-two Charmaine Warman reveals how she has always enjoyed carrying out DIY.
However, after hiring a plumber to do some work on her bathroom, she claims that she could not help thinking that she could actually have done the job by herself.
Now, Ms Warman looks to be taking her love of DIY to the next level as she has enrolled on to a part-time plumbing course through New Career Skills.
“There’s a gap in the market for female plumbers. Many women would feel more comfortable with a female plumber turning up on their doorstep, rather than a man,” she tells the publication.
However, Ms Warman is not alone in picking up plumbing skills as the Star recently reported that Robert Ainsley-Raffel is studying for a level one plumbing qualification at Doncaster College, even though he has been blind since birth.
